Information we collect
- Singles & match information you provide when registering a single or suggesting a match (e.g., name, age, contact details, background, and preferences).
- Contact information you submit through our contact form, coaching requests, or by email and phone.
- Donation information processed securely by our third-party payment provider (we do not store full payment card details).
- Usage data such as basic, non-identifying analytics about how our website and app are used.
How we use your information
- To facilitate introductions and matchmaking in a respectful and dignified manner.
- To share relevant information with our trusted matchmakers and team strictly for the purpose of making a match.
- To respond to your questions and connect you with coaching and resources.
- To process donations and send acknowledgments.
How we share information
Matchmaking is built on trust and discretion. We share personal details only with the people directly involved in considering a match, and with the matchmakers and staff who facilitate it. We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers (such as payment and form processors) who help us operate, and when required by law.
Text messages
We text a one-time code only when somebody types their mobile number and asks for one, to sign in to the Mekudeshet app or mekudeshet.org, or to confirm their number when signing up. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and mekudeshet.org/messaging.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described above never includes text messaging opt-in data or consent; they are not shared with any third party.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information entrusted to us. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request that we update or remove your information, or withdraw a single or match suggestion, at any time by contacting us.
